About

From a diary for my 12th birthday then to my high school paper, and kept writing, for newspapers and magazines then to novels. I merge fact with my fiction plots...so much work but so much fun. With dual Canadian-U.S. citizenship and extensive travel across North America and Europe my characters are placed in familiar settings.

From an American mom married to a Canadian dad I have dual Canadian-U.S. citizenship. Then - after I remarried to a business risk taker and curious-explorer - I've been able to travel extensively. That opportunity for me as a writer allows me to place my [confused, struggling, grieving, witty, triumphant] characters where I have been or lived. And, like hundreds of other authors, I write because I can't-not-write... I seek never to waste a reader's lunch break or evening, weekend or holiday. And because I admired authors with unique plots, then - naturally intrigue is what I strive for too - planting twists for readers with endings not typically expected.
